Description
- Crisp, clear playback on this very hard to find 1958 original RCA Victor “shaded dog” Living Stereo gatefold cover (with 7 page attached insert) LP “Spain” (RCA Victor LSC 2230, 5s/1s Indiana), Fritz Reiner conducting The Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
- The tracklist is: Goyescas: Intermezzo (Grenados)/La Vida Breve: Intermezzo and Dance (Falla)/Dances From The Three Cornered Hat (Falla)/Iberia: Navarra (Albeniz)/Iberia: Fete-Dieu A Seville (Albeniz)/Iberia: Triana (Albeniz).
- The LP plays near mint with crisp, clear fidelity. There are a few light sleeve scuffs and other very light marks but they play through with no degradation in sound quality. I was very pleasantly surprised how well it played in spite of the light marks noted above. I’m unable to see even one spindle mark on the labels. The gatefold cover shows some wear and a few “dings” at the top of the front cover and top seam otherwise the front and back covers are in excellent condition. The printing on the spine is perfectly clear. The 7 page attached insert is near mint. Overall I would give the cover a VG+ rating.
