Comments: Splendid copy of his 3rd of 6 solo 45’s on Brunswick. A-side is a remake of a James Brown co-composition from the previous year 1967 (King 6144). To me it’s a bit out of character with the normally quite suave styling of Mr. Chandler – this is a frantic up-tempo funk track with as much punch as you can possibly build into a backing-track. B-side is an added bonus, mid-tempo Northern Soul that could easily go for quite a few bucks on it’s own…
