Not much ever documented about this Blues and Soul-Man Funkster. He was never pleased with the way his material was being marketed down in New Orleans so he bought his own studio and started the AXE record label to promote himself and some other little known artists. But he was all over the R & B scene of New Orleans through the mid-fifties to the mid-seventies as a session guitar player, songwriter, and record producer. His discography is several pages long. This record released in 1968 is now a very popular standard with the Funk, Soul, Blues, and Northern Soul fans around the EBAY and Music Blog world.
