Description
Prestige Bluesville 1036, "Back on My Feet Again" with Furry Lewis, guitar and vocals, from 1961. The original blue-and-silver-label DG vinyl plays at about VG++; there is some very light static that may be ignored from a distance. The laminated jacket is almost like new with no real wear; seams are solid all around, there is no corner wear; there is some age toning on the back; there is a tiny bb hole through the center of the jacket (see scan to left of FL's head) which also goes through the center of the label. This is one of FL's 'rediscovery' sessions. Songs are "John Henry", "When My Baby Left Me", "Shake 'em on Down", "Big Chief Blues", "Old Blue", "I'm Going to Brownsville", "Back on My Feet Again", White Lightnin'", "Roberta", and "St. Louis Blues". Shipping is $4.00 media mail, $10.00 priority mail within the continental U.S.; $16.00 regular airmail to the U.K., Europe, Japan, Korea, Australia, and New Zealand. Additional single LPs in a single package are $1.00 additional within U.S. and Canada, $3.00 overseas. For overseas shipments, registered mail is strongly recommended at $14.50 extra. Many old records are practically antiques and should be treated that way. This LP will be packaged with the record inside an inner sleeve but outside the jacket; both are placed inside a sealed outer sleeve and shipped inside a special oversized handcrafted mailer with padding on all sides. It is designed thick enough not to be bent in transit and strong enough to withstand a drop from a second-story window. More than two LPs together may be mailed inside a heavy Bags Unlimited pizza-style box. Your LP should arrive in the same condition as on the day it was shipped. All used LPs are play-graded on a VPI turntable with Audioquest tonearm and Grado cartridge.
