Richard Wagner: Tristan & Isolde

Wilhelm Furtwangler conducting the Philharmonia Orchestra.

With Suthaus, Flagstad, Greindl, Fischer-Dieskau and many more.

German Electrola mono pressings from the 50s.

Article-nos.: WALP 1030-1035. All except one sleeve with 1st edition design.

All labels with 33 1/3 in rectangle, all except 3 side with -1-stampers.

Since these presings are very heavy I will not be able to pack the 6LPs in a package

of less than 2Kg. Has to be a 5Kg package...


  • Condition Cover: Strong EX. Amazingly well preserved early gatefold sleeves. These taped sleeve from the

          50s have usually fallen apart when I find them, but these are all fully intact with just a bit of shelf wear.

  • Condition Vinyl: VG+. Discs have probably not been played that often, but tere are a couple of light hairlinemmarks

          visible anyway. I cleaned and played portions of them and they still provide nice audio, but there's some surface noise
          and an occasional click when played with a stereo pick up. Not all sides look exactly the same. Some are still rather strong EX, 
          while others gravitate towards VG.

- I use sturdy cardboard-boxes and cardboard-dividers, both specifically designed for the safe shipping of vinyl records.

- Most LPs receive new antistatic innersleeves (in addition to the original ones, which of course are also provided). I, however, don't add new sleeves, if the original ones seem fitting.

A note about my record-grading:
I usually only visually grade the LPs under strong light and I only playgrade them ( i.e. the portions that seem to have signs of usage), if I can't be sure of their actual condition.
If records show stronger signs of soiling I'll professionally clean them (Okki Nokki RCM), but I'm not doing this if it's obviously only dust, as I know that collectors usually prefer their
very own way of record-cleaning.

My goal is to always decribe the records appropriately and I will name every visible and/or audible defect in my detailed description. If regardless of my precautions
you should ever be dissatisfied with the condition of a record, please contact me before leaving negative or neutral feedback to give me the chance to resolve your query.
I'm confident, however, that this will hardly ever be the case. I've been selling records for many years now and so far complaints fortunately have been the utter exception!
