Description
This is the second edition of Vernon Joynson's highly rated book 'Fuzz Acid And Flowers'. It has become the acknowledged reference guide to American garage, psychedelic, and hippie rock (1964-1975).
In its 419, A4 pages, are documented popular and obscure, American single, E.P., and album releases, together with rarity ratings for albums. In addition to the discography, each of the hundreds of acts listed have associated notes, and group line ups indicating who played on which records.
There are black and white illustrations of many album sleeves and a centre colour section of 8 pages with further sleeve illustrations.
The whole lot is prefaced by a 5 page essay by Joynson on the genre.
Older editions of Joynson's publications are now becoming highly sought after. This second edition was published in 1994 and is in near new condition. Softback.
