 Concert for BANGLA DESH    Original Film Poster from Begium  1972  GEORGE HARRISON BOB DYLAN  LEON RUSSELL ERIC CLAPTON etc  

Original Poster for the Documentary  film of  The Madison Square Garden Concert on 1 August 1971  organised as a benefit concert by George Harrison

and Ravi Shankar - The afternoon and evening performances  were filmed by Director Saul Swimmer who Co-produced the Beatles Let it Be 

A Famous Concert not just for its steller line up - Featuring George Harrison and  Ringo Starr, Bob Dylan ,The late great Leon Russell , Eric Clapton, Billy Preston and a whole host of major Musicians  

but something of a bench mark for charity Fundraising - With huge amounts being raised for UNICEF to combat the vast problems in Bangla Desh and a template for future events such as Live Aid .

rare  and  great striking poster design ideal for framing    Size width 37 Cm  x Height 53 Cm 

The orange in photo 3 is to give a sense of size and sadly is not included in the auction 

 

 CONDITION   

 VERY GOOD  with   minor signs of wear  Light creases  These posters were printed on fairly light weight paper  so are quite fragile   

Will be sent  Rolled in strong tube
