Description
GILBERT AND SULLIVAN BOX SET : Recorded around 1964. D'Oyly Carte Opera Company with the New Symphony Orchestra Conducted by Isidore Godfrey Royal Symphony Orchestra conducted by Sir Malcolm Sargent. Decca 9BB 162/7 (six discs) with booklet. Records have date 1964 on labels, inner sleeve 5-78...so this release probably around 1978. Box has light wear, some foxing inside overall in very good condition, Has an insert , not libretto this insert was stuck at bottom and has some light damage and a split.....Original Decca inner sleeves dated as above..Labels are Decca narrow band red/silver writing and excellent. Vinyl looks excellent probably needs a light clean and plays excellent...
