GALLIARD - “STRANGE PLEASURE”

ORIGINAL 1970 DERAM NOVA UK ISSUE STEREO LP

Here’s a rare opportunity to own this rare cult classic by legendary Birmingham band Galliard.

Rated at £200 mint) in Record Collectors’ RRPG 2013, this is an EX/EX copy.

The album and sleeve both grade in “excellent” condition; near mint vinyl, hardly played – just a couple of spindle marks on side 2’s label. No scratches or marks - plays perfectly, sounds great!

 The album’s superb front cover artwork has very clean lamination, no sleeve splits or tears – just slight creasing on front right top & bottom corners (see pic).

Rear of sleeve is clean, with trademark Deram MONO/STEREO hole, and the legend “Printed and made in England by Senol Printing Limited”.

There is minimal “ringwear”, just traces of pencil writing above the rear sleeve titling. Drummer Les Podreza’s name is crossed out, with “Beppo” printed neatly above – I can’t even determine if this actually a printing edit. Never seen another copy!

Complete with original Decca blue border “stereo” polylined inner sleeve, also in excellent, clean condition.
