Catalogue Number: SXL 2266 (STEREO) Country of Press: UK, FIRST Record Label: DECCA WBG EDITION 1 - BLACK / SILVER Press Date: 1961 Matrix No. Side 1: ZAL 5035-2E Matrix No. Side 2: ZAL 5036-1E Mother / Stamper Side 1: 1 (1st), C (1st) Mother / Stamper Side 2: 1 (1st), C (1st) Sleeve: laminated 2 flip back RH opening Printing Detail: Printed and made by Robert Stace, England Additional Information: Comes in correct FFSS Decca poly lined inner Condition: Side 1 - Vinyl Visual: EX / NM - virtually unmarked - just a couple of very small light marks visible under a strong light source Side 2 - Vinyl Visual: NM - unmarked Side 1 - Label: EX / NM - unmarked - just some light spindle trace Side 2 - Label: EX / NM - unmarked - just some light spindle trace Side 1 - Audio: EX - just some very light crackling on the quiter parts and occasional light dusty pop, a couple of very light 'ticks' at the start of track 2 (minor) - great play throughout Side 2 - Audio: EX - again some very light crackling here and there, superb audio throughout Sleeve: EX - virtually no wear to the front surface, edges, spine and corners. Just a couple of very small light creases to the laminate. The rear card surface is still bright and clean with just a small spot mark at the bottom near the flip back - minor. Flip backs and laminate fold from spine are bright and clean. Superb all round appearance. Inner: EX - Just a crease to the bottom corner, otherwise unmarked and fully intact. Thanks For Looking!!
records are played from start to finish and I will always try to grade as accurately as possible ** I also use the Record Collector's Grading system which is as below: MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.
FAIR: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
