UNUSUAL FUN COLLECTION OF TV GAME SHOW HOSTS SINGING ON 1950's -60's LP RECORDINGS (see photos for complete playlists) :
1) BILL CULLEN: Minstrel Spectacular (1959) (ABC-Paramount - WHITE LABEL PROMO) Bill Cullen (Feb. 18, 1920 - July 7, 1990) was the original emcee of the popular TV game show THE PRICE IS RIGHT for 9 season's from 1956 to 1965. He hosted and appeared on many more TV game shows throughout his career. On this LP Bill Cullen serves of the Master of Ceremonies of songs that cover the whole range of the gaudy history of the Minstar show. Bill Cullen's script for this LP is written by Jay Franklin Jones. Bill is supported by the vocals of the Endmen under the direction of Frank Rate, and the arrangements of James Peterson. CONDITION: Vinyl & Cover = Excellent.
2) HUGH DOWNS: An Evening With Hugh Downs (1959) (Epic - LN-3597) Hugh Downs (Feb. 14, 1921 - July 1, 2020) was the original emcee of the TV game show CONCENTRATION from 1958 to 1969. He also was the side kick for Jack Paar on The Tonight Show from 1957 to 1962. ALSO the co-host of the morning TV show, TODAY from 1962 to 1971 AND anchor of the ABC News magazine 20/20 from 1978 to 1999.This 1959 recording has downs singing 12 songs with a surprisingly nice voice. He is accompanied by Mundell Lowe and his friends. CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Cover = Very Good (some splitting of upper seam - about 4" - but nice.clean color).
3) PETER MARSHALL: For The Love Of Pete (1969) (Dot - DLP-25930) Peter Marshall (March 30, 1926 ) served as the original host of THE HOLLYWOOD SQUARES from 1966 to 1981. he has been on almost 50 other TV, Movie and Broadway credits. Originally a vocalist, on this LP Peter gets back to his roots with 11 great songs. CONDITION: Vinyl = Side1: Good (visible deep scratch in tracks 2 thru 4). Side 2: Very Good. Cover = Very Good (some tears/wear in seams but not split).
4) WINK MARTINDALE: GiddyUp Go (1966) (Dot - DLP-25692) Wink Martindale (Dec. 4, 1933) is best known for hosting TV game show GAMBIT from 1972 to 1976 and TIC-TAC-DOUGH from 1978 to 1985.Wink sings a series of 10 songs with arrangements by Billy Vaughn and milt Rogers. Orchestra conducted by Billy Vaughn. Produced by Bunny Robyn. CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Cover = Very Good +. INCLUDES 45 RPM-7" SINGLE: Deck Of Cards/Now You Know How It Feels. CONDITION: Vinyl & Org. Printed Paper Sleeve = Excellent. NOT PHOTOGRAPHED.
5) ALLEN LUDDEN: Sings His Favorite Songs (1964) (RCA Victor - LPM-2934) Allen Ludden (Oct. 5,1917 to June 9, 1981) was the original host of the popular TV show PASSWORD from 1961 & 1980. He was the husband of actress Betty White from 1963 until his death in 1981. He actually studied voice in his early years and this album showcases his beautiful baritone sound. 12 cuts of his favorite songs to enjoy! CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Cover = Very Good +.
6) GEORGE DeWITT: Name That Tune (1968- Re-issue of 1956 org. ) (RKO Records - ULP-145) George DeWitt (Dec. 30, 1922 - July 14, 1979) was an American singer and comedian best known for the host of 1950's musical quiz TV game show NAME THAT TUNE from 1953 to 1959. 12 songs include many classic American Standards. With Harry Salter Orchestra. CONDITION: Vinyl = Very Good ++. Cover = Excellent.
7) JACK SMITH: You Asked For It (1959) (Bel Canto - BCM/37) Jack Smith (Nov. 16, 1913 to July 3, 2006) was an American crooner, radio,TV host, actor.Best known as the host of the TV game show, YOU ASK FOR IT from 1958 until 1991. With music by Russ Garcia and his orchestra, Jack smith sings 13 popular songs from the day (1959). CONDITION: Vinyl = Excellent. Cover = Very Good +.

LP's come boxed carefully in corrugated boxes made specifically for LP's, with filler pads and bubble wrap on both sides to protect the cover. LP's are housed in clear plastic LP sleeves. The LP is removed from the cover for shipping to prevent seam splitting unless when purchasing a sealed LP or when specified otherwise. Tracking numbers will be provided on all purchases.
