GANDALF 1969 1st Press CAPITOL ST 121 Mega Rare Psych!!
This record has been vacuum machine cleaned and test played in full on quality hi-fi. My grading is based on the UK record collector grading system. I will gladly combine postage on multiple items so check out my other records. Thanks
Mega rare 1969 1st press Psych album on the original Capitol 'rainbow' label. Very seldom up for sale as a genuine 1969 1st pressing so dont miss out Catalogue Number ST 121 Vinyl Condition:- Visually very NEAR EX but plays and sounds as a full EX. To be more specific side one is clean and shiny with about five very light hairlines. These are as light and shallow as can be and have no effect on play and are totally non-audible. Side two is actually visually EX as well as sound quality wise an EX. EXCELLENT clear sound quality with no distortion or trackwear at all.This record has been fully test played before this auction on Rega RP3 deck, Rogers E40a valve amp and Quad ESL 57 ElectrostaticsSleeve Condition:- G/VG This is not a trashed sleeve but damage to edge areas warrants a grade between G and a VG. The top and bottom edges along with sleeve have split at some point in the past and have all been repaired with tape. The tape goes along the entire top and bottom edge and most of the spine. There is also some print surface peeled off along the top back edge and small area down the bottom. On the front there is another small peeled area at the top right hand corner. There is a little light partial ringwear front and back but this not serious All this is very clearly shown in my photos.

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
