Description
Selling off my record collection, this is the fantastic and critically acclaimed Gang of Four's album "Entertainment". If you've not heard this album it is raw, cutting, inventive and influential with tuneful yet jagged and abrasive production and instrumentation. Still listenable and relevant for getting towards 50 years since release! One of my favourite albums and frequently appears in "Top 100 albums ever made" lists..
This is an original copy from 1979, with blue writing on a red spine. catalogue number EMC3313. I acquired it in the mid 80's when my local record library sold off their old stock. It looks as though there used to be a sticker on side 1 of the record centre. The library would put stickers on the records to help prevent them being stolen. The sticker has been removed but there is still a trace of it which can be seen in the photo. Both sides 1 & 2 record centres are of the same graphic style.
The record itself is in pretty good shape considering the age, I'd grade it as VG with just overall light surface scratches, nothing major.
Main sleeve is generally good apart from the spine and edges which have wear as shown so overall being conservative I'd grade it as fair.
Inner sleeve is excellent with only light creasing.
I'm not able to play the record to test it out I'm afraid.
A great item for a collector. Will only appreciate in value!
