Description

Check out this cool 1970s hard rock acetate by this unknown group. Possibly one of a kind? Internet searches reveal nothing. Groovesville had connections in Detroit and Memphis. Maybe this is a southern band? .....


DISC CONDITION: VG+ condition overall. Plays well except the first song which has a separation in the acetate finish and skips (only on the first song). The other 4 songs play well. The sound files have been edited so the auction winner will be the only person with the entire audio content. I have not and will not copy this for anyone. The track that skips is the last song in the samples.

An acetate consists of plastic coating over an aluminum disc. The music is then etched in the plastic coating. Acetates were routinely used in recording studios in the 1950s through 1970s.
