Garnet Mimms is likely known by most as the guy who sang he song "Cry Baby" which was later picked up and covered by Janis Joplin. His #1 R&B version earned him many fans back in 1963, and for the next several years he cut some great records for United Artists.
This LP finds him in 1963 and is built around that killer hit, but also includes some other great northern soul classics. It’s a deep groove original STEREO pressing too, complete with the original inner sleeve too.
