GARRICK'S FAIRGROUND: Mr SMITH'S APOCALYPSE (1971 Argo UK - ZAGF 1 - stamped matrix)

Increasingly hard to find UK progressive jazz; by far the rarest Garrick album on the seminal Argo label. Features such UK jazz luminaries as Henry Lowther, Norma Winstone, Art Themen and of course Michael Garrick on inimitable organ.

Record has been played a lot and shows it, quite a few marks but these do not ffect play; there is occasional background noise in the quieter passages due to the lesser quality of the pressing. No cracks, jumps or skips. Overall in very satisfactory condition.

Laminated gatefold sleeve has also been used a lot, there are some marks on the front bottom left side (see scan).

A rare record that is by no means in mint condition but one that should please most collectors.
