WELCOME! I Work in a record store in Austin, Texas and I am going to be selling off some of my collection, I am starting off small, but I do have all positive feedback for records and other items, including some pricey heavy hitters and no complaints thus far thankfully. This week I'm offering a lot of RARE and OBSCURE records from all sorts of genres, mostly private press stuff, like boogie funk psych soul folk xian weird etc..

For auction is: Gary Blanchard - Original Soundtrack LP Phlamingo Records  PHR-001 . Original 1987 Pressing.
    Amazing and Ultra Rare Minimal Synth LP of only 200 copies pressed in 1987.  Originally paired with a performance art exhibit that Gary created in California in the 80s. It's like the Timmy Thomas of New Wave.  Contains Gary playing drum machine loops and various keyboards layered over them, and then his interesting artsy 80s loner crooning, or spoken word blips like the amazing Polyester from Hell.  But my personal favorite track is Technology Mythology, and Blue Diamonds is also amazing.  You won't see another original copy of this LP any time soon as there was only 200 copies pressed! Instead of giving samples of a few of my favorites I decided to let you hear a small portion of most of the tracks, since this LP isn't very well known.

   Vinyl: VG+ / VG- ( The A side is a VG+ and the B side is a VG-. Under a light you can see numerous light scratches on both sides, but there are 2 more prominent scratch on the B side, they are very thin but you can feel them.  There are occasional ticks and pops in places throughout the record, and I tried to let you hear a lot of the record in the sound clip so you could get an idea of how it sounds.  That being said, I really feel that it sounds much better than it looks,  90% of the record sound grades a VG++ in my opinion, and the few tracks that have more surface noise still sound about VG+, the pressing quality of this record is very good, and it is still very shiny.  )  ^Listen to Sound Clip

Jacket/Label: VG+ (Jacket is in very nice condition, would be VG++ but a little bit of edge wear and ring wear has started to form, but it's a very small amount. Label is very nice.)

I try to Grade conservatively because everyone has different standards.
I use Gold Mine standard grading in ascending order of quality G, G+, VG-, VG, VG+, VG++, EX(+/-), NM (I almost never give a used record this), and SS (or sealed unplayed).
