NO LABEL U.S. 45 RPM 7" ACETATE
THE 415's - "Club Me Like A Baby Seal/The Cycle"
Approximately twenty years ago I worked at PEANUT RECORDS in Lomita, CA. Mr. Kail came by the store a few times and was considered to be a person of unsavory character, skulking about in his black trench coat.
Randy Stodola of THE ALLEY CATS was thought to have a similar interest in Chinese Rocks, but he was considered to be the real deal, and not just a local yokel.
I'm making the assumption that the KAIL listed on the credits is one and the same Gary Kail from MOOD OF DEFIANCE, ANTI, and ZURICH 1916. I suppose someone else could have dropped "Club Me Like A Baby Seal", but I doubt it. The thing that decided it for me was the little squiggly bit at the end of "Seal".
I got this on a record buy in Torrance, CA about five years ago.
Condition of the acetate is between VG++ and VG+: glossy with some light scuffs and storage marks.
