Description
Up for auction is a copy of Sacramento backed with That’s Just The Way I Feel by Gary Usher, released circa 1964 on Capitol cat no 5193. Produced by Brian Wilson, a-side co-written by him too. A rare 45 for collectors of either artist.
Condition: plenty of minor marks on both sides; there’s also a small edge warp and what looks like a cigarette burn on the very edge of the vinyl (see photo), neither of which affect the playing surface of either side…as long as your careful! Plenty of life left in the grooves though, everything plays through loud & clear tracking at 1.5 grams. Call it VG-. Even in this condition it’s a rare 45.
My grades: I use a 10-point scale: M-; EX; VG+; VG; VG-; G+; G; G-; F (fair); P (poor), following Record Collector’s grading guidelines, with an extra + or – here & there to separate the wheat from the chaff. I never use mint as a grade for used records. My feedback from buyers indicates I normally undergrade in listings.
