1st edition GAS Box set was shipped from a record store in Germany in November 2016. It has been opened and lightly listened to. As you can see in photos above, the box itself is still in the original plastic and in very good condition - not outer dents or scuffs. All LPs are in great condition, played once at most. Record sleeves and book and CDs all in excellent condition. Opened, but lovingly cared for and in excellent good condition.

GAS has arrived and this "BOX" set is sublime. Wolfgang Voigt has spread out this collection over 10 LP's and 4 CD's. I have listened to roughly half of the tracks and I am stunned at the incredible mix of electronica/progressive synth/mechanical body sound simulations. To be certain Herr Voigt is an acquired taste but a taste of this GAS-BOX is all that one needs to be transported to a sonic dimension of an unfolding tesseract. The music is very difficult to measure. I am not really sure I would call it music. While listening (without headphones I hear noises that can inadequately described as atonal and yet complex as make you "feel" the sound. Aurally it is so very fine and once you get a hold on the flow you will never listen to another composer of electronica in the same way. The CD's are warm and the treble is nuanced with authority. Regarding the vinyl - The discs are clean and well balanced. The tonearm meets the vinyl very nicely and there is no surface noise whatsoever. This is an expensive investment but it is worth every penny. Five Stars.
