Description

Here is a very rare private pressing - Gaslight (1970) in mono on double LP (SDE 32732) in gatefold sleeve with two inserts featuring the six-piece Gaslight folk outfit augmented here by two guest musicians on guitar and violin (see pix for personnel).

The band is captured playing a mix of Leonard Cohen/Dylan covers and original material. The Dylan covers (I Pity The Poor Immigrant and Ballad of a Thin Man) and the Cohen covers (Suzanne and One Of Us Cannot Be Wrong) are terrific while the original tracks are just as good, if not better! The second disc features members of a school chapel choir and male voice choir.

All components of this hardly played package are in at least VG+ condition, including gatefold sleeve and both inserts. The two inner sleeves bear their original 12d and 8d royalty stamps.
