This auction is for GAY FEET EVERY NIGHT FEATURING BABA BROOKS & HIS BAND JOE WHITE & CHUCK gayfeet/dr. bird s/l p 001-s   dsl 5001  The cover for this release is g+ to vg-   it shows quite a bit of wear and all seams have been torn at some point with the sleeve being repaired. The repair job was done by gluing the covers to a 12inch paper sleeve and it actually came out looking pretty good. There is tape to the bottom and the rear shows more tape.  The record is g+ to vg-  visually there are many scratches and hairlines to this record. The record plays surprisingly well as many older pressings do. This is the original UK press of this very early and rare set on the DR. Bird label.  There are no skips or jumps and the record tracks correctly. The record plays with some background noise and this improves as the record gets closer to the label.  The play grade is much closer to a vg. I listened to this record many times with my moving coil cartridge and always found it a enjoyable listen with a whole lot of life left in it. If  you are looking for a great copy this is not it but this is still a very playable record. Overall a great listen from a super rare record not often seen and rarely for sale.
