GAYLA PEEVEY-"I WANT A HIPPOPOTAMUS FOR CHRISTMAS/ARE MY EARS ON STRAIGHT?" COLUMBIA 40106 78 RPM, Released in 1953. Great novelty song. This is the original 78 rpm release with red label and gold print. Record is in amazing condition for it's age. I don't have a 78 player anymore, But upon visual inspection under bright light I'll rate the record at VG++. Very light wear, No deep scratches. Should play very well. I've included a nice Columbia sleeve. I ship all me 78s in a deep custom mailer with cardboard inserts, And miniature bubble wrap for a nice cushion ride.
