I am offering a first pressing vinyl edition of a legendary album made by Grand Belial's Key called Mocking The Philanthropist. Recorded at Crucifier Studio, Pennsylvania, on December 24-25, 1996. Gatefold sleeve. This copy was released by Wood Nymph Records (WNR 004) in 1997. Part of "At the Blessed Grotto" contains the main melody of the Howard Blake song "Walking in the Air" that is featured in Raymond Briggs' animated short, "The Snowman". Whether this was intentional or not remains a mystery. "The Seventh Enochian Key" contains lyrics taken from The Satanic Bible by Anton LaVey. "The Holocaust Trumpeter" is a reworking of "When Darkness Rears Itself a Throne" from the Triumph of the Hordes (1994) demo. Runouts are hand etched. Side D has no runout etchings.
