Top mint conditions for this avant experimental masterpiece! Privately issued on the Premier folk label in the mid-1970s, this record never had a proper distribution and remains obscure and unknown until nowadays. "Organum Quadruplum" (1967) is a composition including electronic music, collage techniques and the transformation of concrete sounds. Created for a program also including Giuseppe Chiari and MEV, this piece has a central importance in the experimental music perspective. As beautiful as the best Nuova Consonanza electronic pieces, better that Grossi and not available in any other edition. Also on this LP is the short "Ipotesi A" (1974) for hunter's call (whistle) and piano, very much reminding Walter Marchetti's "La caccia". on side 2 "L'opera abbandonata" (1969), the most ambitious of the author's works for magnetic tape. Its duration of 23 minutes unfold on dinstict levels: a strict electronic structure, a collage structure (materials taken from radio broadcasts) and a third level constructed of quotes from beethoven op. 110 treated and filtered in different ways.
