Description
Prestige PRLP 7201
Original mono press from '62 features Ammons with allstar band that includes John Coltrane on alto, Paul Quinchette on tenor and Pepper Adams on tenor. Mal Waldron -- who plays piano -- wrote three of the tunes.
Vinyl is VG+++*, with high gloss on both sides and a few small marks and superficial scuffs. Plays with minimal noise.
Laminated cover has all seams intact. There is yellowing on the front and back, a couple small stains on the back and mild wear on the lower corners (see photo below).
Deep groove labels are clean (see photo below).
Dead wax has RVG machine stamped.
