Description
Prestige Records PRLP 107, this is an original US 10" vinyl pressing - NOT a recent reissue - of the rare Gene Ammons vs. Sonny Stitt LP "Battle Of The Saxes". Jacket is about VG+, showing some handling at edges/corners and it has a couple of stains of the yellow front. LP is about VG, showing some surface/paper marks/small scratches on either side. Sound quality is solid, with some crackle at the beginning of each side/between tracks and during quieter interludes; a few makrs tick or pop, but there are no skips or repeats. Overall, I didn't find any of these flaws overpowering, although they are at times audible. Buyer pays $9.50 priority or $4.00 media shipping in the US, $16.50 airmail overseas.
