GENE CLARK-"WHITE LIGHT" A&M SP-4292 STEREO, Released in 1971. Some say his best work. This is a very special copy indeed! Come's with the original Press Kit from A&M Records. We'll start with the cover, I would rate it at VG. Top seam is split half way across, Bottom seam has a small split at center 2". Has punch-hole upper right corner, No writing, No stains. The record is a white label Promotional Issue. Maitrex Numbers: Side One-4483-M1, Side Two-4484-M1. Record has lot's of gloss and deep shine, Shows a couple light hairlines. Record has a slight warp to it, However it tracks just fine at 2 grams of weigh. Playgrades a very nice VG++. Both labels look great with light spindle wear. Comes in the original A&M inner sleeve. The press-kit consists of 8 8X10 glossy photos of Gene with the New Christy Minstrels, The Birds, & Solo. All the photos are in beautiful condition. The 6-Page Booklet has a great Bio on Gene from the begining through The Gosdin Brothers, The Birds, Dillard & Clark to 1971. A complete Discography and related acts. This could be the Holy-Grail of Gene Clark Collectables. I found this at a Radio Station sale some years ago with everything inside the jacket which explains the seam splits. Too much stuff.
