Description

Up for auction is a monster rare 45 RPM teen/garage record by Gene Fisher and the Mystics on the Plateau Records label (101)...DJ promo with "VIA AIR MAIL" red ink stamp on the A side of this 45. This record has a few minor scuff marks due to its age (1960's), and it has been played.  I play tested both sides, and I gave it a VG+ sound grade, due to very minor background noise here and there, but with overall very nice sound. I think that a good cleaning could possibly improve the sound a bit, as I don't have the proper equipment to clean this 45.
The B side label has what appears to be red ink stamp residue, and this may have happened when this record was being prepared for shipping to a radio station for airplay, but I am not certain.
I just sold the pristine NM copy of this 45 an hour ago that I had a BUY IT NOW price of $169.00, and I excepted an offer of $125.00, and I was going to keep this 45 because the songs are so cool, but I decided to sell it so that a serious collector of this genre of music would have an opportunity to add it to his/her important vinyl collection.  Ebay suggested a BUY IT NOW price of $125.00, but I'm thinking that $99.00 is a better number, and I will entertain offeres.
I'm thinking that this may be the last 45 by this group that you will see on ebay for a long time, because this particular 45 is apparently impossible to find in any condition.  I just got lucky on one of my buying trips a few weeks ago.  No real magic to my having found two of the same record at the same time...simply got lucky.

Both tunes can be heard on youtube.
I will only ship to a USA address, and please ask questions prior to purchasing or making an offer.
