You are bidding on an EXTREMELY RARE! 1954 Clef Record MGC 147 W/DEEP GROOVE AND TRUMPETER LOGO titled The Gene Krupa Sextet #1 featuring Gene Krupa on Drums, Ben Webster on Tenor Saxophone, Charlie Shavers on Trumpet, Bill Harris on Trombone, Teddy Wilson on Piano, and Ray Brown on Bass. The vinyl  is NM! and the record cover is EX! with little wear and a small 1/2" split seam on bottom and a small tear on cover over E in Gene.  I HAVE LISTENED TO BOTH SIDES AND THE RECORD SOUNDS GREAT!!!  THE COVER ART IS DONE BY THE FAMOUS DAVID STONE MARTIN!!!  Selections include Payin' Them Dues Blues, Swedish Schnapps, I'm Coming Virginia, Showcase, Midget and Jungle Drums.  VERY RARE AND DIFFICULT ITEM TO FIND IN THIS WONDERFUL CONDITION!!!  FABULOUS AND CLASSIC JAZZ DRUMMER!!
