GENE MAYL'S DIXIELAND RHYTHM KINGS

NOTE: In 1953, Jazz-Tubaist Gene Mayl recruited famed New Orleans' clarinetist Joe Darensbourg and two members of NYC's Red Onion Jazz Band--Bob Hodes & Robin Wetterau--to join himself and fellow Dayton natives--Sonnanstine & Vastine--in an improvisational Dixieland sextet, which features no drums nor bass in any number.

Vinyl: VG+ condition; glossy deepgroove vinyl; just some surface sleeve spots & a few light handling marks, but nothing feelable; no scratches; plays very nice! Labels: deep groove blue labels are Near Mint (see photos).
Cover: VG+ condition; bright, glossy jacket; edge-wear; light rub-wear; some writing in ink on back; features original 1950's record store stamps (see photos).
+ Original Rice-Paper Inner Sleeve.
Also comes with a new poly-vinyl dust cover & new white paper sleeve.
