STATESIDE & GENE PITNEY COLLECTORS: Issued during 1970, here's a stunning and rare original UK green and white Demo copy of this great tune from GENE PITNEY with "SHADY LADY" on the UK STATESIDE imprint # SS 2177 and backed with "BILLY YOU'RE MY FRIEND".
This disc has the 4-prong centre intact and plays superbly throughout with top audible quality and remains in mint minus condition with barely any sign of sleeve rubs and the absolute minimum of crackle on the run-in and run-out groove. The labels are spotlessly clean on both sides without any written annotations and with minimal signs of spindle wear. Still paired with an original company sleeve with matching catalogue number and very much a top copy for the collector (see picture scans).
