The soundsample is taken from the actual record without any filters - just pure music ! Listen to both sides !

Gene Simmons - Drinkin' wine / I done told you / SUN 299 / USA original pressing 1958

This SUN record is not so easy to come by. At that time Jerry Lee Lewis was so hot selling that Sam Phillips stopped the pressings for other SUN records to keep the pace. SUN 300 was pressed in so less quantity that it is a monster rare SUN record today. This one here is not a monster rarity but still rare and not easy to get. KILLER 1956 Rockabilly, but released in 1958 this record failed to become a hit (the sound of Rock'n'Roll had changed in these two years). Later Gene Simmons went to HI Records and had his first hit with "The haunted house" in the early 60's.

Condition: The record is in very good condition - nearly no scratches or scuffs, very clean, plays fantastic! Overall a VG++ to near mint. The label is on the "Drinkin' wine" side perfect - no writings and very clean. On the other side there are two minor tears, I believe they are directly from pressingplant - the paper around the tears is bumpy.
