This auction is for a very, very rare and early US 7" EP by Gene Vincent and the Blue Caps - Part 2 Capitol Records EAP 2-811. This EP features the cuts "Cruisin'", "You Better Believe", "Double Talkin' Baby", and "Blues Stay Away From Me". This record was pressed in the late 50s and it is extremely rare to find a copy with the original Picture Sleeve in this nice of shape! The A-Side of the record (featuring "Cruisin'") plays through great and sounds incredible with minimal noise. Rated somewhere between VG to VG+ condition conservatively. The B-Side is rated at VG- because the first track, "Double Talkin' Baby" has some noise and pops (no skips) throughout the first half of the track. The second track "Blues Stay Away From Me" sounds great! Both sides play through fine and sound great minus the first half of "Double Talkin' Baby" - but the record still plays through that first half no problem, just has some noise that should be noted. There's still life in this vinyl for sure and visually it's nice and glossy! Center labels have some faint writing on them which I tried to photograph (very faint, near the Capitol Records logo). Now for the best part! The hard cardboard paste-on Picture Sleeve is in excellent shape! VERY RARE to find one with a Picture Sleeve in this great of shape, let alone a picture sleeve at all! Graded at VG+ conservatively with only extremely small signs of wear. There are absolutely NO seam splits or signs of split seams starting. The corners are all great as well, only a very very small stub on the top left front corner which is evident in the first photo ! Please see photos or ask questions before bidding! Thanks!

- M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
- VG+ Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
- VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
- VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
- G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
