Here for your consideration is an original 1956 U.S Capitol Records issue GENE VINCENT and his BLUE CAPS 7" EP ~ PART 3 EAP 3-764 (one part of a three-part album) ~ Machine Stamped in the trail off area is: F 3 - 7 6 4 - D 2 and F 4 - 7 6 4 - D 2 on the flip side trail off area of the record. Clean labels on each side (see pics). The vinyl playing surface is absolutely stunning! Close inspection under 100-watt light deem this record to be in NM condition! Record appears to have only been played perhaps a time or two, if at all. At one point of the the very outer edge of the trail-in groove area of the vinyl, well before the playing grooves begin, is a teenie-tiny miniscule pin-head size chip that is barely noticable except under close inspection, and doesn't come anywear near affecting the playing surface of the record, as it is the farthest point possible away from the grooves. I only mention it to give an exact description of this record, which is without question the finest copy I have ever seen! The cardboard cover has no rips, no tears, no seam splits, no creases, etc. ~ there is a little light age smudging as seen in the scan, but actually the cover looks even better in person than it does in the scan! No pen or pencil markings anywhere on the front or back EP cover. For whatever reasons, research shows that Part 3 of this EP set seems to show up the least.
