This auction is for a very, very rare and early 7" EP (with original picture sleeve, that is even rarer than the record itself) from Gene Vincent, "Hot Rod Gang" This EP features the cuts "Dance In The Street", "Baby Blue", "Lovely Loretta" and "Dance To The Bop". This record was pressed in 1958 and it is extremely rare to find a copy with the original Picture Sleeve in this nice of shape! Large-Hole, green center label Hollywood pressing! The record is in VG condition with some surface noise present during quiet passages and in between tracks. It plays through all the way extremely well! Definitely a lot of life left in this vinyl! Center labels are clean! The hard cardboard paste-on Picture Sleeve is in incredible shape! VERY RARE to find one with a Picture Sleeve in this great of shape, let alone a picture sleeve at all! Graded at VG+ with only some small signs of wear (mostly wear on the cover's image which is evident in the photo). There are absolutely NO seam splits or signs of split seams starting. The corners are all great as well, no stubs! The top left of the back cover has some pencil writing on it that could probably be erased with a good eraser but we left it on to keep it in the original shape it came to us in. We rated the record at VG to be extremely conservative. Please see photos or ask questions before bidding! Thanks!

  • SS  Still Sealed 
  • M  Mint - Perfect in all ways.
  • M- Mint Minus - Near perfect, most likely and unplayed record
  • VG+  Very Good Plus - Very close to like new with only superficial signs of use that do not affect playability. Only records stored and used with care will grade out to VG+.
  • VG Very Good - A used, reasonable copy that plays. There will be obvious signs of wear and the possibility of some light surface noise between tracks or during quiet passages, but still nice and playable.
  • VG- Very Good Minus - A record with significant wear and marks. Records graded VG-usually have some noticeable surface noise.
  • G+ Good Plus. 'Good' means pretty beat up. From here on down (Fair, Poor), we're talking about extremely beat up records.
