On offer here is a VERY rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Gene Vincent & The Blue Caps called "Gene Vincent Rocks & The Blue Caps Roll" and is an ORIGINAL 1958 UK MONO 1st Pressing (now 61 years old!) on the 1st Press Turquoise Capitol label!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS EASILY GENE VINCENT'S RAREST UK LP EVER, AND VIRTUALLY NEVER TURNS UP FOR SALE!!!!  JUST TRY AND FIND ANOTHER ONE!!!!  BACK IN 1958 WHEN THIS LP WAS RELEASED IN THE UK, IT ONLY EVER SOLD IN ABSOLUTELY TINY AMOUNTS AND WAS ALMOST IMMEDIATELY DELETED!!!!  AS A RESULT IT IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND INCREDIBLY HARD TO LOCATE TODAY!!!!

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP REALLY SPECIAL - IS THAT IT IS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESSING EVER MADE!!!!  AND THIS IS ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND ON THIS LP!!!!  AMAZINGLY - THIS LP HAS THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 'HALF-MOON' FLIPBACK COVER (LATER ONES DONT!), AND THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS TURQUOISE CAPITOL LABELS (LATER ONES HAVE 'RAINBOW' LABELS INSTEAD!)!!!!  AND THIS IS TREMENDOUSLY IMPORTANT ON THIS LP - AS IT WAS GENE VINCENTS LAST UK LP TO EXIST ON THE 'TURQUOISE' LABEL, AND WAS CHANGED ONLY 2 OR 3 WEEKS AFTER IT WAS RELEASED!!!!  SO THERE IS ABSOLUTELY NO DOUBT AT ALL - THAT THIS IS THE 'EARLIEST' & RAREST 1ST PRESSING OF THIS INCREDIBLE LP THAT YOU CAN POSSIBLY GET (AND GENE VINCENT'S RAREST EVER UK ALBUM RELEASE TO FIND AS A 1ST PRESSING!)!!!!

BUT WHAT MAKES THIS LP EVEN RARER STILL - IS THAT IT IS IN GREAT CONDITION FOR ONCE (WITH A STUNNING RECORD!), AND IS A VERY VERY DECENT EXAMPLE INDEED!!!!  THIS LP WAS FIRST RELEASED IN THE UK WITH A VERY THIN AND INCREDIBLY FRAGILE COVER - AND 99% OF UK 1ST PRESSINGS LEFT IN EXISTENCE TODAY HAVE SERIOUS COVER DAMAGE - WITH LARGE TEARS, SPLITS, AND USUALLY WHOLE PIECES MISSING!!!!  BUT NOT THIS ONE!!!!  AMAZINGLY, THIS LP HAS A VERY NICE LOOKING COVER INDEED, AND AN ABSOLUTELY STUNNING RECORD!!!!  AND THIS MAKES THIS LP EXTREMELY RARE INDEED - AS MOST 1ST PRESSINGS ARE IN TERRIBLE CONDITION TODAY!!!!  AND IT IS ALL THE MORE INCREDIBLE - ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU CONSIDER THAT THIS LP IS NOW 61 YEARS OLD!!!!  JUST TAKE A LOOK AT THE PICTURES!!!! 

THIS IS THE ORIGINAL 1958 UK 'EARLIEST' MONO 1ST PRESSING ON THE 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'TURQUOISE' CAPITOL LABELS, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'THICKER' INNER SLEEVE, 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS 'XT' LABEL TAX CODE, AND 'EARLIEST' 1ST PRESS FULLY LAMINATED 'HALF MOON' FLIPBACK MONO COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS AMAZING OPPORTUNITY!!!!  This is the ORIGINAL Capitol 'Earliest' 1st Pressing from 1958 and is in BRILLIANT condition!!!!  The record is pressed on THICK quality vinyl.  The Cat. No is T 970 on the ORIGINAL 1st Press 'Turquoise' Capitol Label (see picture) and is a UK MONO 1st Pressing!!!!

The record labels are in SUPERB condition (see pictures) with NO writing, NO wear, and only a few VERY light spindle marks!!!!  The vinyl is in absolutely STUNNING condition for once!!!!  Most of these 50s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable.  This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, only 1 MEGA light TINY scuffline, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK AND LOOKS SUPERB!!!!  It is also great to find that the record plays as STUNNINGLY as the visual with NO pops, NO sticking, NO jumps, and barely ANY crackle AT ALL!!!!  The sound quality is simply SUPERB with NO distortion and NO groovewear either!!!!  The record must grade Excellent+ if not better!!!!  SUPERB RECORD!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!!  I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!!  Brillant!!!!  The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press inner sleeve which is in SUPERB condition!!!!  The ORIGINAL 1st Press FULLY Laminated 'Half Moon' Flipback Cover is in GREAT condition!!!!  It has NO top edge wear, NO edge splits, a few small 'touched in' traces on the bottom edge & opening edge, NO spinal wear (side words PERFECT!), the odd touch of laminate loss on the opening edge, only VERY slight corner wear, NO stickers, only a few VERY light creases (cover is VERY flat looking!), shiny laminate, NO annotations, and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with barely ANY feathering AT ALL (with a couple of TINY repaired 'nicks' and possible fractional evidence of trimming)!!!!  Even the laminated back of the cover is in GREAT condition with NO grubbyness, NO laminate loss, an extremely well done small repair to the bottom left corner, NO flipback loss (repair excepted), VERY nice flipbacks otherwise, VERY shiny laminate, barely ANY yellowing, and NO writing!!!!  Essentially what you have here, is a very VERY presentable cover indeed, with NO rips, NO tears, and NO bits missing!!!!  So a VERY solid and VERY decent cover indeed!!!!  The cover must grade Very Good (PROPERLY graded, NOT trashed!) if not better - and is definitely way WAY better than most 1st Pressings of this LP that turn up for sale!!!!  AND PLEASE ALSO BE VERY AWARE - you cannot swop this cover with a later pressing cover, as they are RADICALLY different!!!!  So finding ANY 1st Press cover is very VERY hard indeed (most have been swopped!), and this one, though not perfect - is way WAY better than most!!!!  THIS LP IS SERIOUSLY RARE AND VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND LIKE THIS - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS INCREDIBLE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
