TITLE/ARTIST: This ultra rare and highly collectible Gene Vincent LP - on the original, "black with rainbow colorband", Capitol Label, features 12 great early songs from this RnR/Rock-A-Billy pioneer -see pics above for all song titles. This is just one of two rare Gene Vincent LP's I'll have listed this week - please check out the other as well. The album is entitled "Crazy Times" (the title song), and is just one of many nicely conditioned and rare LPs (and/or 50-60's EPs which I expect to start with soon), that I'll be listing in the coming days/weeks ahead, and nearly all are highly collectible and most are in very nice shape. The condition of both the vinyl and the jacket here, in my humble opinion, are very, very good. LABEL INFO: It is on the original, Capitol Label, T 1342, in mono (of course), and in my opinion, is in great shape. VINYL INFO: The vinyl is also extremely shiny, clean, nice with only some super light (and I do mean "super" light), surface/paper paper lines on either side - but nothing too bad at all - and they have absolutely no effect on the LP's play. JACKET INFO: Likewise, this jacket is also primarily clean and nice, although there are just a few early and light signs of aging/ringwear on the back side and a small, and hardly noticable, (5"-6") seam split in the very top, open edged corner, but nothing all that serious, believe me! So, please view the pictures above and make your own decisions. INTERESTING FACTS: To me, this rare LP is really quite nice, especially considering what it is to collectors out there. You just don't see these late 1950's-early 1960's LPs in this condition out there too much anymore, so please have at it. In addition, I have listed---and will continue to do so---many other RnR/R&B LP's, EP's, and 45's by 1950-60's artists----and some C&W LPs/45's, too. I am selling off my personal collection, and there are 1000's of more records to get to yet -- of all varieties. Many of these still to be listed records are rare and hard to find, and most all of them are in near mint shape. So, please bookmark my site and check it out from time to time. These are U.S. rates only, and all foreign winners will have to await an email me for their exact costs, although I will send a detailed invoice as soon as the auction is over---but, there too, it is cheaper to send multiple pieces.
