A RARE HISTORICAL RECORD ON 78rpm. THIS COLLECTABLE WAS RECORDED IN 1910 ON THE BRITISH COLUMBIA LABEL # 2075 SIDE1: THROUGH JORDAN (An Address in verse by the Late GENERAL BOOTH Founder of the Salvation Army) & SIDE2: PLEASE SIR, SAVE ME (An Address by the Late GENERAL BOOTH Founder of the Salvation Army). THIS RECORD STILL SHOWS GLOSS AND SHINE AND IT PLAYS WITH GOOD SOUND FOR A VINTAGE 78 THAT IS NOW "103 YEARS OLD". THERE IS SOME BACKGROUND NOISE AS YOU WOULD EXPECT WHEN YOU CONSIDER THE METHOD USED TO RECORD THIS BACK THEN. IT GRADES AS A VG+ AT LEAST, AND WILL BE A RARE RECORD FOR ANY COLLECTION OR FOR FRAMING. These Collectable 78's are getting very hard to find anymore, and the good ones are quickly becoming scarce. This 78 is from the large collection of Rock & Roll and R&B & Jazz 78's that I have in my personal collection, and it would pay to mark this site as one of your favorites as there will be plenty more to come.
