This is one of 7 totally original 1st Press Genesis studio LP’s from Trespass to Wind and Wuthering that I am currently offering for sale on ebay.  Almost without exception these LP are in totally fantastic condition.  I have hand selected these for sale as they are simply some of the finest examples of Genesis first pressings I have ever come across. Each has the FIRST and LOWEST matrix numbers known for that particular LP.  All sleeves are the FIRST ever produced.  They contain ALL the original extra’s including Lyric Inners, Inserts etc. They are a serious Genesis vinyl collectors dream!!!!   

This is also one of several LP’s I am offering now and over the next few weeks on ebay in absolutely stunning condition throughout.  These LP’s are all in at least EX+ condition, with the majority being in Near Mint or Mint Condition.

If you are looking for an absolutely fantastic condition original UK 1st pressing copy of this LP on, then look no further, this is a really great example.  It is not too far off being perfect, a really stunning example. It would be a real challenge to upgrade any further on this copy, about the best condition example I have seen in 20+ years.

Detailed condition grading is as follows: 

VINYL: (VISUAL) NEAR MINT

The vinyl is in superb NEAR MINT condition.  An examination under strong halogen light shows just a couple of very very light hairline marks, but these are extremely feint to even see with the naked eye. It is a really superb copy and was not far off receiving a Mint grading…..

MATRIX INFORMATION:   

A Side:  CDS 4001 A//1 T  1  4
B Side:  CDS 4001 B//1 T 1 3  5

LABELS:  NEAR MINT

The labels are in Near Mint condition, being clean and free from any marks or damage.

OUTER SLEEVE: NEAR MINT

The outer gatefold sleeve is in NEAR MINT condition and displays only very minor signs of use, it is a stunning example with nice unworn edges .

This is the correct 1st sleeve for this LP.  It is made from a soft and flexible card by Bruin BV who used this material for all their sleeves. The sleeve alos has a textured finish. Bruin BV’s relationship with B&C / Phonogram continued after they manufactured the first pressings of the Lamb Lies Down cover, but not long after this record was released the sleeve production was then handed from Bruin BV  to Robor Ltd who produced a much studier sleeve with a slightly different textured finish.  Finding the Bruin sleeve with the correct address for Charisma at the record’s release of 37 Soho Square in even excellent condition is a really really hard challenge.  The soft cover attracts dirt incredibly well and so to find this copy in near mint condition is an extremely rare event. 

The sleeve is wonderfully clean throughout . The spine has some moderate fading right at the edge of the cover and to the spine itself but it is undamaged otherwise.  A stunning find!

CUSTOM INNER SLEEVE:  EX

The inner sleeve that depicts some of the characters from the outer sleeve is in EX condition.  It is generally very clean and tidy and is only let down slightly by the presence of a couple fairly prominent visible creases which are found in the upper centre area on each side. 

Overall this is absolutely superb original 1st pressing, with the very first A//1 B//1 matrix numbers and correct Bruin BV sleeve.

Postage and Packing:

All records are been placed in a separate poly lined inner and stored flat outside the sleeve and then placed sealed in a re-sealable polythene outer prior to shipping.  Records are then placed between square cardboard sheets before packaging into cruciform mailers especially designed for LP’s
