IMPORTANT NOTE: I have been a buyer of vinyl records on Ebay and elsewhere online for quite some time so I know well all pain and frustration the buyers get due to incorrect or misleading descriptions of records provided by some sellers (even 100 % positive - my experience) that unfortunately becomes an increasing problem on Ebay. So my description is made from a buyer`s and not from a seller`s standpoint. My goal is to sell and make purchase pleasant to a buyer otherwise why buy music.
TREMENDOUSLY RARE especially in this condition GENUINE 1ST UK pressing of the 1st album by GENESIS from 1969 - FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION.
UK 1st pressing STEREO on the unboxed blue DECCA label under catalogue # SKL.4990 matrices ZAL 8839 P-1W/ ZAL 8840 P-2W with laminated/matt flipback cover complete with original lyric insert and the CORRECT BLUE polylined inner sleeve that are both in Excellent condition.
The cover is in great shape with laminated front and unlaminated rare - please see pictures. It has slight ring wear hint that is mainly seen due to laminated surface. No laminate wrinkles. Edges and corners are very slightly affected by shelf wear. The spine is intact. At the right upper corner on the rare there is a hole to identify whether it is stereo or mono release. GREAT cover.
The vinyl is visually in strong EX+ to NM condition having just very minor surface hairlines here and there certainly not affecting play. I have played it in full prior to listing and overall playback is fantastic with nothing wrong but some light statics here and there. Certainly NO jumps, skips or pops. My conservative play grade is EX++.
The 1st pressing blue DECCA labels are in excellent condition having a name BOB written with biro on A side only. There are spindle hole marks visible on both sides. Other than this no flaws.
Pre-ultimate upgrade I believe !!! Great investment opportunity !!!

LPs are packaged in a manner to ensure safe traveling using stiffeners and professional envelopes to ensure safe arrival in the same condition as they leave. Records are removed from the sleeve in order to prevent seam splits in transit.
