GENESIS – FROM GENESIS TO REVELATION – Stereo SKL 4990
The first stereo issue (1969) of the first album by Genesis – From Genesis to Revelation – catalogue number Decca SKL 4990.
The rear sleeve has a peephole showing the original blue/white stereo inner. The insert has pink/red print on a cream background. The label has unboxed Decca logo. Matrix numbers are ZAL-8839 P-1W and ZAL-8840 P-2W.
The disc has several marks and light scratches. During the first 4-minutes of side 1 there are about 20 ticks (some loud, some faint) plus occasional faint crackle – the rest of the side plays really well. Side 2 has a few faint ticks at the start and occasional random light ticks later. The insert is excellent with very light creasing. The sleeve is intact but has edge/corner wear, record impress and some laminate creasing.
