On offer here is a very rare LP (especially in this condition!!!!) by Genesis called "From Genesis To Revelation" and is an INCREDIBLY rare UK 1970 2nd pressing on the 'Boxed' Decca label !!!  THIS LP IS INCREDIBLY HARD TO FIND IN THIS CONDITION!!!!  BUT THIS LP IS VERY VERY SPECIAL INDEED!!!!  I WILL EXPLAIN.  MOST 2ND PRESSINGS OF THIS LP DATE FROM MUCH LATER ON IN THE 1970S - USUALLY 1972/3 (WHEN GENESIS WERE MORE POPULAR), AND HAVE A LATER 'STANDARD' BLACK COVER WITH NO 'MONO/STEREO' HOLE ON THE BACK COVER.  BUT THIS ONE IS A GENIUNE 1970 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSING - AND WAS ONLY PRESSED A FEW MONTHS AFTER RELEASE, AND ONLY A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE DECCA LABEL CHANGE!!!!   NATURALLY AS ONE OF THESE 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSINGS IT HAS SOME EXTREMELY IMPORTANT DIFFERENCES WHEN COMPARED TO LATER PRESSINGS!!!!  FIRSTLY IT STILL HAS A 1ST PRESS LAMINATED COVER WITH A MONO/STEREO 'EYE' HOLE ON THE REVERSE OF THE COVER (LATER ONES DONT), AND SECONDLY IT HAS A 1ST PRESS INSERT WITH MONO & STEREO LISTED ON THE INSERT (LATER ONES ONLY HAVE STEREO ONLY)!!!!  IT ALSO HAS A BLUE STEREO INNER SLEEVE (LATER ONES DONT)!!!!  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS LP WAS ONLY PRESSED A FEW WEEKS AFTER THE DECCA LABEL CHANGE AND IS VIRTUALLY IMPOSSIBLE TO FIND!!!!  THIS IS THE 1970 UK 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSING ON THE 2ND PRESS 'BOXED' DECCA LABEL, 1ST PRESS BLUE STEREO INNER SLEEVE, 1ST PRESS 'MONO/STEREO' INSERT, AND 1ST PRESS 'MONO/STEREO' LAMINATED 'ROBERT STACE' COVER!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND (ESPECIALLY IN THIS CONDITION) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!! The Cat. No is SKL 4990 on the ORIGINAL 2nd Press Boxed Decca label (see picture) and is a 1970 Stereo 2nd pressing!!!!

The record labels are in STUNNING condition (see pictures) with NO writing and barely ANY spindle marks AT ALL!!!!  There is also a little wear around 1 centre hole - though this is clearly from the actual 'punching' of the hole through the record (at manufacture) - rather than from wear or 'overplay'.  IT IS VERY CLEAR THAT THIS RECORD HAS BARELY BEEN PLAYED AT ALL!!!!  The vinyl is in STUNNING condition!!!!  Most of these 60s/70s LPs had been to a lot of wild parties and are usually found totally worn out, and almost unplayable. This one is NOT and has NO scratches, NO hairlines, and only a VERY few of the lightest paper scuffs only visible under light!!!!  ITS AS SIMPLE AS THAT!!!!  THE RECORD STILL RETAINS ALL OF ITS ORIGINAL 'JUST PRESSED' LOOK!!!! It is also great to find that the playing of the record is as STUNNING as the visual!!!! It plays with NO pops, NO jumps, NO sticks, NO hiss, and barely ANY crackle!!!!  Not only that but the sound quality is SUPERB with NO groovewear either and NO distortion!!!!  The record must grade FULL Excellent!!!!  Believe me this record is NOT overgraded in ANY way!!!! I use STRICT RC grading standards - it is not in my interest not to!!!! Brillant!!!! The record also comes in its ORIGINAL 1st Press Blue Stereo inner sleeve!!!!  THE MEGA RARE 1ST PRESS 'MONO/STEREO' INSERT IS IN STUNNING CONDITION!!!!  The 1st Press Laminated Cover is in STUNNING condition!!!!  It has NO edge wear, NO spinal wear, only VERY slight corner wear (NOT through the colour), only a VERY few light creases (cover is VERY flat looking), and NO writing!!!!  The opening edge is beautifully straight with NO feathering!!!! Even the unlaminated back is in STUNNING condition with NO writing, NO yellowing, and NO grubbyness!!!!  Amazingly this cover back has survived remarkably with the majority of the cover back having NO rubbing AT ALL and absolutely NO ringwear!!!!  All there is to mention is a MEGA faint touch of rubbing near to the top of the cover back, and some VERY slight rubbing along the bottom!!!!  This cover back is INCREDIBLY hard to find with as little rubbing as this one has!!!! This cover MUST grade Excellent(Minus)!!!!  THIS LP IS EXTREMELY HARD TO FIND AS ONE OF THE VERY 'EARLIEST' 2ND PRESSINGS (STILL WITH 1ST PRESS COVER AND INSERT) - SO DONT MISS OUT ON THIS MEGA RARE OPPORTUNITY!!!!
