GENESIS From Genesis to Revelation LP 1969 Red Decca Label MONO VG/EX VERY RARE!!!
Almost a mythical rarity with MONO copies hardly ever surfacing!
Very rare and collectable Genesis debut album released in 1969 on the Red unboxed Decca record label and in Mono!!! (Yes Mono!!!).

I try to be as honest with my grading of vinyl as possible and would never offer albums or singles that were anything less than in good condition (using the Record Collector Magazine Grading System as my guide - below). I clean (if required) and then play all the albums and singles I offer on e-bay before listing them.
Also, I supply a number of large good quality photographs whenever possible (see below). You need have no doubt what you are bidding on after checking these out.
All albums and 12" singles are sent out in strong card mailers with stiffeners.
Record Collector Magazine Grading System:
MINT The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as sealed or un-played should be Mint.
EXCELLENT The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
VERY GOOD The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discoloration, etc.

Condition of vinyl: In excellent condition and plays perfectly with no deterioration in sound quality evident and only a few very minor surface marks visible under strong light. This really is a very nice copy and you will struggle to find another like this. No loud pops or crackles and sounds great in glorious mono!
Condition of labels: In excellent condition with only minor spindle wear evident.
Condition of cover: In very good condition with only fairly minor signs of wear, creasing and discolouration evident. There are (as the photo shows below) some marks on the front of the cover. There is also a pen mark on the back but I think these can be easily forgiven due to its sheer rarity, complete with the original lyric insert & Decca red bordered poly lined inner in very good condition.
Extras: Comes complete with original Lyric insert in very good condition.

I recommend that I use “Special Delivery” in the UK on this item as it is very valuable. Cost will be £7.90.
