GENESIS: Happy The Man c/w Other Artist
Charisma Records AS 179 / Italian promotional juke box single
Description
Record is in excellent condition with minimal wear to surface; just a few light surface marks on either side, but no scratches; labels are clean on both sides with barely any trace of wear around the centre hole. Sleeve maybe original, I’m not sure, but shows some signs of wear and tear from handling/storage.

I use Record Collector magazine’s grading system to state the condition of each item – record, sleeve, etc., and check each item visually under LED lighting for

Mint (Record): Is in new/perfect condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. Sleeve: Is mint and any additional items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.
Excellent (Record): Shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. Sleeve: The sleeve and packaging might have slight wear and, or creasing.
Very Good (Record): Has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Sleeve: Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (Record): Has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. Sleeve: Cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc.
Fair (Record): Is still playable, but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. Sleeve: Cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.
