Original UK Charisma large Hatter labels. Labels state “Manufactured and Distributed by B&C Records Ltd.” Very minimal spindle wear visible.


Sleeve Notes:

Original matte sleeve with “Marketed by B&C Records” credit indicating an early first pressing. A few faint edge creases only. Spine lettering remains fully legible.


Description:

Original UK 1973 first pressing of Genesis Live released on Charisma with 1U/1U matrices and the desirable large Mad Hatter label design.


Both the labels and sleeve carry the early B&C Records manufacturing/distribution credits associated with the first pressing issue.


This particular early large Hatter first pressing is becoming harder to find than many people realise, especially in stronger condition, as a large number of copies saw heavy play during the period.


The vinyl remains visually very clean overall and grades Excellent with strong clear playback throughout and only faint occasional background crackle present during careful play testing.


Labels remain especially clean with hardly any spindle wear visible, suggesting relatively light use over the years.


The original matte sleeve grades near excellent overall with only a few light edge creases and light signs of handling/storage. Spine text remains fully readable.


Carefully cleaned and fully play tested prior to listing. Vinyl also checked carefully for warping/dishing. This copy remains very flat.
