Millions of Genesis fans - indeed all serious vinyl collectors worldwide - will know exactly what this is. It is the rarest of all the original Genesis releases from their home country. Except, of course, this one didn't actually make it past the severely limited promotional stage and was never commercially available. It is the "lost" single from what most consider to be the first true Genesis album, "Trespass".
The most rabid Genesis/Prog fans have never even seen a copy of this. Here is a genuine first-and-only-press copy in mint condition.
The very few copies that have made it onto the buyers market over the years usually have the fragile "push-out" centre missing - this one does not. Most are scratched or warped or in some way show the passage of the years. Incredibly, this one does not. IT IS IN MINT CONDITION. The vinyl is bright, glossy and shines. It appears totally unplayed. The label shows no writing, no marks, no spindle lines. It's famous pink is as vivid and vibrant as the day it was pressed. YOU WILL NOT GET A BETTER COPY OF THIS EXTRAORDINARILY RARE RECORD THAN THIS. The only note is that it's original generic white company sleeve has become a little discoloured with age but these were not particular to this release, are commonplace, and have no bearing upon this item's value.
It is unimaginable that another opportunity will arise for serious Genesis collectors to purchase such a piece again.
The Start Price will only appear high to those who don't realize what this is. There is NO reserve.
