Nursery Cryme A1/B2 ('The Famous Charisma Label' Pink Scroll Label)
This is the second UK 'pink scroll' Genesis LP I am selling and again it is rare and highly collectible. It is worth noting how low the stampers are with only a single stamper letter on each side. I would therefore say that this particular LP was one of the earliest of the press, a mega early pressing!

Visual grading
There are numerous faint hairlines and some more obvious longer ones but there are no feelable scratches. It has been heavily played due to the amount of spindle wear but for such a rare vinyl it still plays well but with some interference as described below.
Play grading
'The Musical Box' does play with crackle in the quieter parts but at varying levels of volume. In some sections it is not as prevalent. The louder instrumental sections actually play with wonderful audio and no interference. So whilst some of the crackle is distinctly obvious there are no loud pops and no jumps or skips and it remains an excellent listen. The crescendo ending plays very well. 'For Absent Friends' again plays with some crackle but it is not as obvious this time. 'The Return of the Giant Hogweed' again plays with some crackle and 4/5 pops so definitely not without issue but is still a worthwhile listen. The loud ending actually played very well and took me back a few years!
'Seven Stones' on Side Two without doubt plays more clearly with much less crackle and greater definition. A couple of pops half way through but an excellent listen nonetheless. 'Harold The Barrel' plays in the same way with more clarity than Side One. Some interference here and there but not loud and not intrusive. 'Harlequin' can be graded in the same way. 'The Fountain of Salmacis' has plays with crackle, and whilst not loud as such, it is certainly prevalent throughout the track. There is also a little distortion on the top level. However, there are no clicks, pops or jumps so it is definitely a worthwhile listen!
Gatefold cover
The textured E.J. Day gatefold is excellent condition with only minor shelf wear. There is some rubbing to the edges but it is not excessive and the wide spine remains in excellent order. There is also a little wear to the corners. The front and back covers are extremely clean with no marking or creasing whatsoever. The inside is also very clean with only light spotting on the top and bottom edges and three small letters written in one corner of the credits. Very tiny indeed, see if you can spot them! So overall this is a very clean gatefold with only superficial wear and the opening edge is also in excellent shape with barely any wear.
Labels
The 'pink scroll' labels are extremely clean with no markings just some obvious spindle wear.
