Welcome to 'Its the vinyl countdown' music auctions. Here you will find some of the most incredible rare records and music memorabilia for your collection. We pride ourselves on auctioning only the highest grade records and items, you will not see anything listed here below EX+ condition, unles the item is extremely rare. You will not see worn covers, warped records or scratched records. We simply do not bother with them.
We list in many cases, 'Archived' & 'mint' condition items, we are able to source from private collections all over the UK. So we hope you can be put at ease that what you are bidding on is of the highest quality.
We play through most of the records, unless the item is clearly mint, or sealed..in which case we don't play them, thus maintaining their 'unplayed' status! Obviously with some of these rare items there will be the odd 'anomoly' along the way , the odd little static pop or lead in 'sizzle' for a split second.. nothing is perfect we find! all systems differ, but we aim to describe these as accurately as possible for you.... As you can see, this vinyl is the SUPER RARE ORIGINAL PINK SCROLL pressing -
Stored from new this LP has seen WAY BELOW AVERAGE CAREFUL plays, and remains in SUPERB SOUND condition everywhere. THE VINYL REALLY IS QUITE AMAZING
This HEAVYWEIGHT pressing is a superb vinyl which has retained its amazing glossy sheen and finish. There is no dulling anywhere and overall it is in incredible condition for an LP of this age. The edges are silky smooth, typical of these vintage pressings.
There are some light spider lines around the centre hole, and no wear to the spindle hole whatsoever.
There are average whisp lines, a few light hairlines on each side of the vinyl, as you may expect for such a rare record - BUT NO SCRATCHES OR DAMAGE ON THE VINYL AT ALL!! - QUITE SUPERB!
PLAYING THE VINYL:
On playing through we heard some very very feint static only in the openeing dead grooves!..
This dissappeared almost immediately
THE ENTIRE PLAY WAS A JOY TO LISTEN TO
An amazing 'as good as it gets' vinyl.
All quiet passages were superb
A very rare record to see at all these days in this condition..
OVERALL THIS IS SIMPLY A MUST !!!

Correct TEXTURED MATT GATEFOLD UK issued EJ DAY sleeve - with THE original 'scroll logo ' on the inside gatefold.
PRINTER CREDITS - E.J. DAY (Later sleeves were Howards priners)
This is in SUPERB condition, with lovely texturing with no ringwear or ringpress.
THE BEST EXAMPLE WE HAVE EVER SEEN IN FACT
The edges have NO RUB, and there is just asmall dink on the spine bottom which has left a very light crease on the inside gatefold - we dont think this is too bad at all and certainly should ot put you off.
No ringwear - no press of any note
The open edge remains stunning sharp condition -
Just the lightest tip rub on the open tips -
The inside gatefold is pristine white.
