Description

Genesis Trespass vinyl LP First UK pressing from 1970 on Charisma with rare pink scroll label
Cat. no. CAS 1020
A-2U/B-2U matrices

Vinyl is in nice condition. Clean and bright with just a few light scuffs and light hairlines visible under strong light. No deep scratches. VG+
Labels are also nice and clean with no writing, stickers or other damage. A few light spindle marks on either side. VG+
Audio. Plays through crisp and clear with no sticks, jumps or loud pops. Just very minor surface noise between tracks and during the quieter sections but nothing which detracts from the music. VG+
Gatefold Sleeve is also in really nice condition with no splits or writing. Spine still solid and unworn. Opening edge is still sharp. Inside gatefold excellent. Just one brown spot to the rear but otherwise this grades as EX
Original lyric sheet is included which has been folded in four and has a small tear to the bottom but is otherwise perfectly readable. VG

Overall a nice copy of this rare first pressing. VG+/EX

Gradings;

Mint: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition.

Excellent: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening of sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.

Very Good: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Good: The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration etc..

Fair: The record is still just playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise: it may even jump. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Poor: The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise etc.. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

Bad: The record is unplayable or might even be broken, and is only of use as a collection filler.
